Hi All

Thought I'd share a few cool pics from the last few weeks.  Been a sweet couple of weeks since I last managed to put something up.

Finished up last multi day trip of the year with an epic snap for regular Mark from Oz, taken out wide and went 27pd

Mark is a keen as fly fisherman and with kings still up high in the water column we nabbed a nice 15kg fish on fly for him, smoked off 100m of fly line and backing but all held together for Mark and a new PB on fly

Got to kick back with the family on xmas day...a bit of fishing on the agenda on the way out to Xmas day on the beach on slipper, loads of bait on the coast at the moment, oscar did the honours...

And the boss did the honours with a solid 18kg king from 8m on the 120 JM spin

Was a sober one New Years Eve with a keen crew of Japanese jiggers on the following day and some very lumpy seas forecast.  The kings were smashing jigs though....safety goggles please

Fat kings loving the new offerings from Japan....

Not all went to plan....

Oh dear

The last few days livies have been the ticket with some solid fish on the chew, incl this donkey for Hunty from Singapore

Today was one out of the bag though.  Tony and I snuck out early to get bait before pick up as we had to pick a crew up from Slipper and Tony couldn't resist a cast of the new CBONE Zorro ....nice one bro

The team of four from Oz got stuck into a crazy bite of kings for three hours straight railed....Sylvia taking out king of the morning

Gave the guys the option of trying for a puka a bit further north and they were up for it....Mike who fishes with us a bit had lent us his JM PE 10 and Tony and I had a bit of practice the night before over a few beers  strapped into a harness in the boat with someone on the other end pretending to be a marlin.....time to put it to the test.....

We went up to a series of marks I'd pinged during game season trolling and after a few fruitless drifts Hobbie got slammed up against the rail big time BOOM......Tony called it for a big bass and pushed the lever past the 15 kg of drag we had been playing with the day before up to 30kg, the Amberjack Sniper was up to the task.   It was a beast of a fish and still needed thumbing at 30kg of drag.  Hobbie went to task on the fish all strapped in...very cool reel

We thought it was big but then this popped up

Don't know who was more stoked....decky or angler!

Love it when a plan comes together...

Time to put on the lie detector, back at the wharf.....doh maxed out the 50k scales

Back at the club on the scales she went 56kg, I think biggest bass to be weighed at the club

Plenty more pics up on our site.

With water out there getting very good and loads of bait......plenty more Coro goodness and suprises in store to come we hope.

Carl

Clap Some great pics. The broken rod is great after seeing the previous shots of how much the angler was demanding of his gearSmile
