Was wondering if anyone had tried using this knot as an alternative to the FG knot or short PR for stick baiting.....Seems very tidy and looks like it would pass through the guides pretty good.Easy to tie. ( 9 times up and 7 times down has been mentioned on here for soft baiting)...I realize this knot will receive a lot more stress for this type of fishing.
Once the idiots turn up..Im outta here...No time for Drama Queens.

That is basically what I used in the solomons for the lighter tackle (30lb) stuff this summer, and what I use on my jigging gear all the time. Can't think of any particular times the knot has let me down.

A good knot but it can cause the odd bit of trouble with its bulk and the tag end of the leader as it faces the runners when casting, I agree with Capt A in Jigging no worries and not to bad in light tackle.

I have found this a great option to use with twisted double leaders.  No tag end to hang up when casting.  I got my personal best GT on this combo (est 35-40kg) in less than 10m of water.  Put a serious strain on the knot and it handled it.  With that, there is an IGFA test of the regular albright and it did not fair well.  http://www.igfa.org/About/Testing-Monofilament-to-Braided-Spectra-Connections.aspx
Tis better to have hooked and lost than never to have hooked at all.

just like everyone else, but if you cast a PR Vs a FG, you will know the difference straight away and you wont go back to a PR

Fg for stickbaits for sure. Reverse allbright for light tackle. All u do is wrap doubled braid round leader 16 times then pass end of leader through the braid loop and pull up tight. Then half hitch leader back on itself and cut tag. Super slim for light tackle. Pr for jigging for sure.
