I am taking Tagit back up north in March to fish the Houhora contest in late March, and will then leave her up north for a month or two depending on what plans we make for that part of the season. Rather than have her sitting idle whilst up there before our next trip, I have made arrangements with Chris Brittian who was Tagit's original skipper for many years to run a few charters to the Three Kings if there is any demand. For those who don't know Chris, he is one of the most experienced and successful of Northlands charter skippers. Chris ran Tagit for 6 years before I took her out of Northland charter work, so knows the boat extremely well. For those who don't Tagit, she is a 43ft Warrick, and purpose built to charter fish the Northland coats and Three Kings (where we did most of our charter work). Chris has a passion for catching Kingfish, with a number of records falling to his clients over the years. If it is big 'kingies' you are after, a trip with Chris is worth considering.

I am only offerring these trips on this forum and to my Dreamboats customers, and would like to fill at least three trips if possible to make all the organising worth while. Dates for my own trip(s) are flexible, so I more or less have all dates in April and May except for Easter available at this stage. If there isn't enough interest I will just bring Tagit back down to Auck a bit earlier, so if you want a trip to the Three Kings with a great skipper (who knows the Kings well) and boat, let me know by PM asap.

Hire cost will be $1950 per day, for a maximum of 5 people (4 is better for fishing, but there is plenty of accomodation for 5). This includes food, tackle etc. Pickup will most likely be in Houhora to maximise your time at the Three Kings. Trips are a minimum of 4 days, but 5 days is what we normall recomend to get the best out of the experience. Just bring your clothes and toothbrush. Our normal rates 3 years ago were $2500 per day, so this is about as affordable as I can make it.
