Would be into that naut1, as I work on ship I am restricted to leave period from 28th May to 21st June, this late may not be ideal for majority so understand if my dates no good. Newbie to this but fully loaded and keen. If we can get idea of cost I may be able to get one more.

thanks

Sounds like a good trip, dates seem fine, just need to know the costings and the boat your looking at, the sooner the better or I might go over to fiji for GT's around then.

looking forward to hearing from you

you might be lucky getting one of the better boats to go to the 3kings late May but normally all fully booked. Went up there last April on Enchanter (approx 11-12k)takes 8 so very reasonable priced and great skipper. Will go back next year as going to Samoa in May this year.

Ok made a call

Enchanter has one slot available (sort off)
1st to 4th june- 4 days
Price is $2600 per day
Max 8 people but preferbly 6 for these trips ( 6 good for me but decromasy rules)
For 6  cost is @ $1734 for trip
For 8   cost is $1300
Additional costs are;
$35 for bait and tackle per person/day
$50 for food catered.
I assume we will have own bait tackle so no charge.
Need to check If option to organise own food ok.

Normally this is 5 day trip , with 4 day trip skipper will try and leave night before, travel through the night to maximise fishing time.
Deposit of $2000 required to secure.

Now the catch is they just need to confirm with Shimano guys in Japan who expressed interest in this spot so will get back to me soon. Thought I would post this anyway as probably take a while to confirm our lot.
If all else fails testing my new popper rod somewhere warm may just have to do.

You on the air Naut1

Sounds like a plan too me. Leave the master foods at home then. Few Heinies sounds good, got to have your greens.

Just thought to put all options up

Still no word about availibilty yet, but may pay to act quick if avail so hands up will be good.

I see yehaaa are hosting two trips earlier dates if more suitable for some, no good for me unfortunately ,going to be down south livebaiting mice for giant trout.

Cheers

Ok  slot is available
1st to 4th june
Depart the night before the 1st
$2600 /day plus 50 each for food

Penciled in for now, but dont know for how long.
Now this is a first for me, dont really know anyone into jigging in a serious way to spend this sort of money so probably wont undertake this unless I get the numbers from you guys or girls even better.
So need a few hands up or will let it go.

Thanks DAVE

thanks Des got your pm, your in, .
To be fair its first up first in basis
If I get confirmation from source outside these forums I will post them on updated list. We  will stop at six, then its up to first six about final numbers, I personally will vote 6 maybe 7, majority rules.

 So list is;
Corokid
Des flurane

Just an update from Michelle at Enchanter Charters
Daily catered food rate is now $55 per person due to caterer price increase
But if we take own food, deckies will cook it for us, cheaper option and can still relax on trip but have to organise food first, up for decision.

Cheers

self catering is a great idea if you are able to organise all meals, snacks, brekkie and stuff like that.  You also get to eat what you like!  Usually our cars are so full of fishing gear and ice bins that there is little space for food let alone the booze.  Last trip, each man's job was to buy food for an evening meal and lunch for one day.   Costs were spread over all the anglers which came to about half the quoted catering cost.  Something about a oven hot roast prepared and cooked the traditional way compared to something else that is heat and eat.  Best meals were on Cascade with Charlie!  Would love to eat at his restaurant Thumbs Up
give it death!

Once we get our group we can sort this, appreciate your advice.

Gunna have to get Heavy Metal DVD on when  home wednesday

Hopefully get out for practise towards end of week around channel island area when weather settles.

Guys, I have a few other forum Members lining up for spots on Tagit in April and May. Both jigging and game fishing. For years Tagit with skipper Chris Brittain was one of Northlands top charter boats, and Chris is a great guy to fish with. He has spent huge amounts of time at the Three Kings (as has Tagit), so if you are still looking for a trip, have a read of the thread BA posted in his message above.

To all asking about price scroll up a few posts and its all there or visit Enchanter site.
Deposit is $2000 , divide that by number of people and we can pay to Enchanter acc when I get there details. But first we need the numbers .

Edit.
Just got email from Enchanter peaople, suggest I take care of deposit to simplify things.
So I will forward bank details to all parties if required. So we will make it $500 per person to secure your spot, I will forward total to Enchanter and ask them to email all parties to confirm payment recieved.
So if interested please supply contact details with a private message.
Also Im am heading to South Island in about two weeks time, will be gone for 6weeks, internet access will be limited and low on priority so would like to get this all organised with deposit paid beforehand.
Thanks
