Had a great meal at the Tga game club tonight but missed the jackpot($1250) Had a look at the catch boards & see Kent Ennon caught a 14.68 kg(32.36lb) Snapper 22.12.03.  Just shows, the big ones are out there.

Torpedo fishermen are doing well of the beach at Papamoa, change of light best.

Had a call from a Whakatane mate this evening-Tarakihi by the ton-well nearly. He tells me of limit bags per angler nearly every outing. Best baits, fresh Tua-tuas.

And I have to sit here & tie flies-Buggar.

But just think Uncle
when everyone else has stoped going out (in the middle of winter) you can go out and have the ocean to yourself and catch nothing.
Have a great Christmas and fantastic new year and let Aunty know that we are down to the rush hour today and I will have my camera on every dive
