I sort of borrowed the basic pattern here from the fat boy, plus some of Ted's kingi flies I saw. I added in my own bits and pieces, as you do. These are tied in 8/0 and 10/0, the idea is to attrract a kingi to the boat and then dump this in front of him. I've done neither of these things just yet, so anything I say here could just be crap!!! Flies go from 10 - 14 cm...

Hook: SL12S 8/0 -10/0
Underbody: Ezibody tube, wide, tied and doubled to form rear facing cone (see Clark's tie of fat boy for better instruction)
Wing - belly: white clown hair, back - what ever colour clown hair spins your wheels
Cheek: I used silver holofusion, it looks nice
Eye: Big prismatic stick on (10mm)
Head: Mylar tube tied in, 2 layers of expoxy (1 over eyes)
Body finish: I used selleys silicon to shape the body, back to curve of hook as prior to that I was getting too many tail wraps. Silicon makes a nice squishy body too.

Lots of colours:

Looks nice but here in sweden i would reject them
because of the lack of tapering of the wing.
But it seems like the fish down under doesnt care
to much so it will surely work.
Best Regards

Yeah they could be tapered with a bit of trimming I guess...
