I'm also a bit unsure about the eyes Jax, especially those stick on dolls eyes. Time to do some more reading.
The baited breath has bead chain eyes. I hope this pattern will do the trick on tailing spotted grunter on the estuary mudflats in South Africa. Leaving next week. ![]()
I mostly use doll flies in conjunction with epoxy head, but epoxy isn't mandatory. I've used everything from Zap a gap to clear silicon adhesive to hold them, stuff like superglue has the potential to leave a scummy white film over them so be careful.
