Thanks Grunta and a special thanks to ChrisW for sponsoring this new forum. Clap

Chris' knowledge of jigging is extremely comprehensive and he doesn't just sell the gear, he gets out there and does it. Top bloke.

Firstly - Lethal is THE AUTHORITY  on Snapper jigging so I'll keep quiet on this topic.

Secondly - thanks for the thumbs-up guys, I'm excited and happy to be involved with this one although most of what I have to say is aimed squarely at jigging for Kingies and Hapuka etc.  Hopefully members can digest radical jigging technologies/techniques and get their teeth into an exciting way to fish.
We are truely blessed with pristine jigging for Kingies around NZ, enough that there are currently several groups of foreign jiggers who have regular trips to the Ranfurly and 3 Kings.  They rate our NZ Kingies lb for lb above exotic species as Dog Tooth Tuna, GT's, Amberjack, Samsonfish, so why not see what you are missing out on?  Anglers are currently arriving from the other side of the world to fish what we take for granted.

There is no doubt about it. Pound for pound a King would tow a Doggie backwards.

Chris, what's your website? Are your jigs displayed on it? I'm gonna need some replacements sooner or later. Last I bought some  Zest Jigs was in Hamilton at Fish City.
I've been using a supply of 'Grim Reaper' for snapper, and only have mainly 150gm + left.
I still have a couple of 'Lethal' jigs, but almost too scared to use 'em...almost collectors items.Almost..Wink
 Cheers.

This is fantastic....I have been visiting oveseas jigging forums for my fix and it is great to have one dedicated to NZ. Have learnt heaps from ChrisW personally and on those other forums Thumbs%20Up. Jigging is by far one of the most exciting ways to fish.
