Hey all, Jake Burton here.   I am a born and bread Northland Local and my my partner been working a little thing called JCJIGS for the last 18 months.

Were really passionate on getting people back into this style of fishing.   Our motto is to "fish smarter and catch your dream" .

I have loved teaching my daughter and her mates how to jig.  But... we do it in a different way.  We teach our kids and any in fact any new people how to jig for kings, snappers, tuna and the like using a style called "fast pitch or a hybrid style"  not in your usual Mechanical or Slow pitch.  And it works super well.

Have a look at this "how to vid" that we filmed while fishing the mighty west coast.  It is a really easy, and energy efficient way to jig that leaves you with loads table species as well as hooking the mighty pelagics like kingfish and tuna.  Most important.  Its fun.
