Just wondering if you can get a bigger spool. I want to use PE8 but I will only get 230-250m with that. I have seen people on forums talk about putting an 8k spool on them. Just wondered if that's possible and if it would increase the amount of line on the spool or it there's another option?

Have a look at the SLP Works range for Daiwa

20SALTIGA

I might be corrected but the compatible spool sizes being between 8000 ⇔ 1000 ⇔ 14000

and the 18000 ⇔ 20000 are separate

250m is heaps for kings at GT, chasing SBT maybe not

Yep agree, 250m is heaps of line, if a Kingy takes anywhere near that much you’re reefed.
You could always load it with tasline PE6 which has an actual breaking stain of 96lb.
