We towed the boat up from Taupo, but she's only a 14ft runabout. The sea state is forecast as being a bit iffy while we're here. So, can anyone suggest land based spots this side of the bay that we can park close to? We aren't kitted out for trekking in this ****ty weather. If we get to the end of the week and haven't got anything we'll jump on a charter, but it would be nice to catch some snapper without having to be molly coddled. Thanks.
