looking to add some variations to my stickbait collection.

Given i will be using them off the shore as well as on lighter gear I don't think i can muster a couple of hundred $ on a lure.

What are some good optionsaround or below $100.

Currently running mainly Duo lures and a nomad (that i don't really like that much) 100g maximum

or if anyone has some for sale....

check out Topwaterspecialists , Anesh has a few lures under that that are nice .

I have only recently given stickbaits a go but have had a bit of success on the Fishing Inc. prop pink shiner. 


Found it really simple to get good action from it.

Shimano Orcas, Maria Rapido, Sluggos, Hots Keiko, Fisherman Delta, Massimo lures.

I've found that they all perform quite well and you won't feel too bad losing them.

Not yet Tony, saw they had a special on marine deals the other day but have spent enough for now, think the pink one will be on the list! So many options out there once you start looking deeper, (after searching all of the suggestions above) now looking at making sure i have different colours....thinking about getting a rod specifically for off the rocks so might wait and see as it might change the weight of what i am using

I wouldnt go for anything too flash off the rocks deacs........harsh environment for a stickbait rod........I bought a shimano t curve revolution stick bait rod for the bricks.......good budget and use a saragosa sw 10,000 with that.....I aint using my stella off the bricks......
some cheaper sticks 
shimano ocea pencils with inline 7/0
starwalker 180 with inline 7/0     both easy to swim.
Amageri lean180
aswb
Hitter lures.(new name now)
Cotten cordell with 3/0 owner st66 trebs popper.........caught heaps of kings on that one @ GB.
Once the idiots turn up..Im outta here...No time for Drama Queens.

Hey LBD hope everything is going well. It always bemuses me why people are worried about breaking rods on rocks i have never seen one break and seen plenty more on boats being high sticked. You don't see the top guys using average rods on the rocks just because they may get scratched and they rarely break them because of being knocked about a bit, you should see the state of my snapper rod thats carbon fibre..... if you get it right then no need to resell them! ( in sayimg that i have just resold a synit van diemen that spent plenty of time on rocks).
A few different stickbaits there i can look at cheers
Ps i also use a stella off the bricks! No point having it sit in a room at home and losing a fish you could have stopped

Completely agreee Deacs. I've been using graphite stickbait rods for a few years off the rocks now and I've never had any issues. As long as you're reasonably careful you should be fine. Same goes for reels, just got to take a bit of care that you don't get the spool lip beaten up.

Deacs....that synit van demon you were selling looked a bit beaten up to me...
My mate arron had a carpenter blue chaser 83/40 and an sw18000 and try his best....it got scratched to ****........probably because he fished alone most of the time.......you can try to pussy foot with your gear but it will get scratched and lacquer removed......
The rod i mentioned is not cheap......Nor is it an inferior rod..........If you look on the shimano vid when they do top water....you will see it it action......very good rod for its price........i caught a 48 pound king on a kilwell pink panther(before rocky).........20 kg of drag is not needed off the bricks.....
Rods/reels will get beaten if lent against things....put in rod holders and they fall over......the wind blows them over.......trying to land a big fish..........it is of course your money/your choice but one day that rod/reel will hit the rocks(guarantee it !)..........Re sale is not my gripe.......bruising to the blank/guide damage is more of the worry to me........especially when the adrenaline is flowing and you are trying to land a big fish on your own......**** can happen. 
Once the idiots turn up..Im outta here...No time for Drama Queens.

Hey Deacs, our local fishing shop sell these stick baits. only 24g - 100mm - VCM Hooks.
Amazing quality for the price.
I use a lighter setup that your probably used to, these lures have caught me a few Kings.

IM surprised nobody has mentioned the rapala Subwalks .. They are probably one of the easiest lures to swim, have an amazing action and great colour selection 
I'll act my age when im 69
