Hi
Am taking the whanua to Opononi in the far north over Xmas/new year. Am looking to stay for a few days on the way back to Auckland on the east coast. Can you suggest some places with good launching spots ideally concrete ramps. Would be looking to fish and sea biscuit. Places to stay welcome as well! Naturally needs to be secure for boat and gear. Have a 4.4m buccaneer and young kids so not keen on any bar crossings pls. Thanks in advance, Si

Tutukaka has a nice easy ramp, camp ground,Whangarei,we use to stay at the top 10 camp ground in town and launch at parua bay but if on shore wind can be a bit bouncy.

There's a nice motorcamp at Ruakaka and a very good ramp at Marsden Cove about 10 minutes up the road.
Yes it was me, I screwed it up for everyone.
