Hi Guys, What size (weight) leader do you use for stick-baiting ?
We will be fishing some 'horse' terrain down here.    Thanks.

relative to your Pe Braid and the territory..........
This is what i typically use but its always a mono supple leader....I use varivas shock leader....dont use flouro.......black magic supple is good on a budget
1....light set ......PE4 or 50 pound.....80-100 pound leader black magic supple or varivas.
2.....PE 6 or 70 to 80 pound.......130 pound varivas  to 170 pound if horse country
3....Pe 8 or 100 pound.........130 to 200 pound Varivas shock leader.
The weight and size of your stickbait needs to be considered too......if you toss an 80 gram stickbait out on set 3 .......dont expect a good action out of your lure........However it would work a treat with set up one !........you can see a theme here......around double your braid rating is good...Hope this helps....Get stuck into em.Wink
p.s use a good swivel and split ring to attach to your lures....something like an NT swivel(1/0 or 2/0) and an owner or decoy split ring(9mm or 10mm)....swage splits  are good too.....i use decoy heavy...a uni to swivel will do the job.
Once the idiots turn up..Im outta here...No time for Drama Queens.
