I own a 7mm Moray Revolution atm and looking to get a 5mm cause i think its warm enough for Otago waters.

The majority would say to go for Wettie or Moray, but my question is how do they compare to other major brands such as Rob Allen, Beuchat, Picasso, Cressi etc in term of durability, quality and fit?

On that note, does anyone own a Rob Allen Scorpia 5mm? any feedback would be appreciated! Looking to get one of these if they're on par with Wettie/Moray.

Cheers

Went up to Dunedin last weekend to visit the West Shell store on Moray Place, I was looking at fins (and got some) but did notice they have a fair range of gear from those brands you mention.

Disclaimer: I have a Wettie 'Elite' 5mm and it is warm enough for year round diving around Southland and Stewart Island, fits me nicely which probably makes the biggest difference.

If you are happy with the fit of the Moray then stay with it. It's the most durable suit you can get. Also has the best warranty on the market.
I'd rather dive than breathe.

Don't know why you'd ever want to change from the Moray Revolution. If you like your 7mm & just want something thinner stick with what you know & get their 5mm.

I've got the Revolution in 5mm & dive all year round in Otago & have never got cold in the water. I have a 3mm vest that I can chuck on extra just in case, but I've never needed to use it.

The Revolution is an awesome suit though. After having plenty of suits get knicked or torn on the rocks I decided to go for the Revolution cos of all the tough Kevlar padding. It's hardy as hell & now I wouldn't buy any other suit.

I have no problems with Moray at all, just wanted some feedback on other wetsuits.

Guess i'll either go with Wettie or wait for Morays new range to come out, hopefully soon.
