Hi there guys. I want to buy a new rod for casting off the beach into work ups. i saw that shimano make a back bone casting rod. has anyone used one or have any suggestions for a good casting rod.

Hi Finn, you may want to refine what your wanting to cast stick baits or poppers
For lures if you can get a rod at least 8'3"
There are lots of options Shimano BBE is an inexpensive option but not the best.IMO

Well basically i am just casting small lures for kahawai. I just want a rod that will give me a bit more distance.
