Hey guys, just wondering if anyone has used the black magic stickbaits, in 65g & 130g and if they swim alright or notQuestion

Have seen them around at shops in the past but never bothered with them, just noticed marine deals have them on special this week.

Cheers calcal Thumbs Up
Exactly what i wanted to know, saw the price and was tempted straight away but wasn't going to buy any if they are duds so to speak, like terrible to get to swim.

Always adding to my collecting, cheap, midrange & expensive lures as tend to lose a few on overseas GT trips.... well atleast i do haha

Even managed to lose a $70-80 dollar stickbait last weekend on a somewhat substantial sized kingyCry

So helps to be able to top back up with a few cheapies from time to time.

Prob a bit late to save you... but I have found them pretty rubbish, I think savebarn sell them under a different name.

From my experience they don't really swim and just skip on the surface which you can achieve with pretty much any stickbait with a high rod angle.

Cost effective options that are easy to work would be:
Starwalkers – 160f 60gm, 160s 90gm, 180f 100gm, 180s 130gm.
Orca – 160mm 60gm, 190mm 90gm
Maria loaded – 180mm 75gm

Hey Boxee, Nah didn't end up buying any after all that.
Yeah have a heap of the lures you mentioned, just saw those black magic ones at the cheap price and thought might be a go as cheap / don't care lures(when the GT's are on will pretty much eat anything).

All good though, good to know for future though that they don't swim too well.
Cheers.
