In the tropics. Im guessing at channel markers, flotsam...I hear channels between reefs with current. But is it in front of the white water/waves or behind? As close to the reef as you can throw it? 15-20m ok?
just want to get intel to increase my chances... Smile

thanks

I found casting into surf worked for me, being careful to not put it on dry reef

Thanks Jac23. The GRs hang at the back of the swell or cruise the reef in front of the White water? Or do I look for gaps in the reef and cast at that. Other wise I could troll a 2m bibbed Halico along the reef edge??

Definitely gaps in the reef. Gts ambush prey in the broken water/surf.
Casting from boat found it best to cast right into the surf. Areas with heaps of current. Trolling the edge will pick up all sorts of pelagics. Doggies, wahoo etc
