Well i did somthing that some of you may not totally agree with but i had so much fun i got to tell you guys. on xmas day i hit the chelsea suger pond. aparently its no fishing but it was xmas and no1 was there. i used my 6 weight flyrod and floating bread baits and landed about 30 carp( koi's and grassies) the small ones were about 5-6 pounds but the biggest grassie i got would have gone 40 pound easy and the biggest koi would have been about 30 pound. they were snapping 8kg momoi trace like it was cotton if you tried to lock up on them. was some of the best fun ive ever had on my 6 weight and i do alot of fly fishing. next public holiday may have to do another ninja mish down there. somthing about fish that big smashing surface baits within 30 seconds of them hitting the water and the massive screaming runs that follow
