Just a brought a Shimano Ocea Offshore Stickbait 802 rod matched to a Saragosa SW10000, a Stella and higher end rod will just have to wait.

Shimano has just put out new line of Powerpro braid called Super 8 Slick has anyone have used this or have opinion on it.
I have my Stradic 8000 loaded with Sufix 832, should I be looking at this or can anyone recomend another suitable braid for casting.

Cheers

YGK castman is a favourite of mine.

Havent seen the PP slick, cant say I really care too much about what braid is on the reel much though, just personally avoid using four strand stuff or rougher braids like Jerry Brown solid for casting. The standard Sufix stuff is fine too.

Spooled several reels today with the Super 8 - its a HELL of a lot nice than the standard yellow PowerPro.

I've got my Saragosa 10k loaded with 50lb 832 but considering respooling with Super 8 after seeing it.
