Hi all, I thought I might start making up my own assist hooks, what breaking strain Kevlar would you recomend, the jigg weights are 200 and 250 grm I have 9/0 hooks, cheers.

I used jig star h (heavy)not sure how many lbs but landed a 80kg Marko with out him chewing threw it.might have been lucky tho

That 180lb assist cord is great for slow pitch assists Kevin, really thin and nice to tie with

Jig Star XS is 70lb - for Slow Pitch, Inchiku, Kabura
S is 100lb for Inchiku,
M is 220lb for jigging
H is 320lb for heavy jigging

I also have Zylon which is quite expensive but strong and pretty bite proof in #50 and #70.
