The esteemed Boulder has laid claim to the Trevally pin, usurpring Grounded's effort of 2lb 12 ounces.
Boulder caught his fine 5.4kg (11.91lb) trev while fishing with Rick Pollock aboard Pursuit. They were sheltering from vile weather in Spirits Bay on May 31. Line weight was 10kg and the bait was skippy.
Boulder apologises for being slacker than a slack thing and taking so long but he was unable to secure photos from Mr Pollock that proved this outrageous claim.
He also apologises for the photos having been taken on a 1932 box Brownie camera using a plastic coke bottle top as a lens.

oh well done old boy
Its reassuring to see you can actually catch fish mate
Hes probably sunning himself on a nude beach somewhere in Italy(eeeeuuuwww)
nice Trev Boulder, would've made 4 good snapper baits
Thanks one and all for your kind words Bushpig notwithstanding.
Bender the reason for the delay in producing the photo was caused by our desire to edit out the glowing hand of God patting his favoured disciple on the head. Yes bender if you look closer you can still see the imprint from his fingers in the glow above my head!! Distressed as I was by your insistance on photographic evidence and a weight certificate despite corraborating sworn testimony from another Net member I have deceided to fogive you your doubts as to my lack of honesty in making this claim.
My ego having been suitably massaged by the above kind words and even to the extent of one of my humble posts being quoted verbatium by Jo in C2C I must declare myself well satisfied with the final outcome and least my smugness assume the truly gargantuan proportions of that porcine poser on page 40, I in the spirit of fair play, relenquish this late awarded pin content that justice has been seen to be done and shall assume the Champion tag addition only. This means all pins are now on the table for the new season.
Congratulations Boulder, couldn't happen to a nicer chap I am sure. I am amazed my custodianship of the pin lasted as long as it did.
Now I must go fishing some day.
