Man, that sounds like one awesome reel.if he says it is without question the best spinning reel ever made, you can bet your bottom dollar it is.
I guess there is a reason they ain't cheap eh. This would have to be the Bugatti Veyron of the spin reel world, so no wonder it ain't $299.95 on super special at hunting and fishing! :-)
Just looked online, couldn't see any prices anywhere....how much (gulp!) are they?

Not as bad as I had thought, I was expecting a couple of grand, but that 5500 size....the one I would want... Only 1300aud.
I wonder if they will be here in nz, will Britain wynyard be importing them, anyone know?

Capt yeah we already have the 8000H in stock and talking to diawa they are saying the 5500 due September at this point..

always like alans reviews.they are raw and he makes comments on even the smallest things.closet to a hands on without actually holding the reel
