Away during that time too but would be interested in one next year, preferably multi-day trip to White/Ranfurly.

You need zero cloud cover of course so its not an easy thing to get right ..but when it is all lined up it is amazing...my best trip we got into anchorage at 11pm and by 4 am i had caught 23 kingies with 6 over 20 kgs..we had put close to 100 flying fish in the ice hold as well..It was as easy as picking up a flying fish that had flown onto deck and knocked its self out then putting it back with a hook in its nose and watching masses of kings race in and fight for it..1  bloke had never caught a legal kingi before and i left him on deck still catching them right thru till dawn...wouldnt like to think how many Jay caught that night but he was shot to pieces in the morning LOLLOLLOL after a full day catching kingies they turned up again that night at anchor...never forget that trip

I could be keen on a place on this trip Ian, let's catch up during the week and discuss. In fact, it's turning westerly again on MOnday, you might need to pop over for a fish, these things are always best discussed on a boatBig%20smile.
