have a look behind waheki island at slack tide should be work ups everywere. find the fish on your sounder anchocer on them u cant go wrong. hope this helps

Saturday was tough, went out from Kaiaua 7am, told get to 20 metres won"t miss (where have I heard that before). Fished till 1pm 5 snapper biggest 40cm. Was tough though with Northerly wind and outgoing tide. Out in middle were heaps of big yellow tail mackeral.
