This is a fly I call the scaredy-bait.

Hook: SL12s 2/0 - 6/0
Thread: White
Tail: White clown hair (tenth the price of slinky fibre) with one nice big long grizzly feather down each side, topped with some of that shiney crap that i forgot it's name... flashabou? Pearl or silver is nice
Body: builtup succesive shorter layers of clown hair
Eyes: rubbery eyes from Flyworld but any will do
Head: epoxy

The big deal here is to ensure that head/front of body fibres are not so long that tail wraps occur too frequently.

Other colours look nice too. Fish might think so also!

Enjoy

Very nice Fly Nik, that one would work on most
predatory species in the ocean.
