If there is anywhere where there is artificial lighting with nearby weed beds, I would try there at night but I don't know the area sorry. Areas with weed beds at dusk and twilight could be well worth a shot too

Marsden point wharf. There is a public wharf to the East of the log terminal . Great spot for all fishing including squid
