Hi-I haven't personally owned one of these but my mate did and I went out with him a few dozen times. Not sure what the year of this one is but looks like mid to late 90's? It was an OK boat and as long as you get it for the right price it could (I say could!!) be OK. I would delve into the motor a bit more even check it out with whoever serviced it last. In their day they were a good motor but with the ravages of time?? It was a terribly wet boat if I remember even going  directly into a head wind and chop it would get water over the screen. I also remember it broaching going with and over a swell. The price?? $17k seems to be a bit steep and to me it would have to be in exceptional condition to be worth that. However this is just my personal opinion. Good luck with your selection.

Cheers for the reply mate , yea from what I have been able to find on these older ramcos they have very pretty mixed reviews , I thought pretty steep price also, think I'll pass on this and keep looking and save up more coin .
Most of my missions will be off the catlins/south coast . South island. so after a very sea worthy vessel

Not a boat for big sea in my opinion, light weight pressed hull tinny maybe only 600 to 800kg.
