Check out https://wetmaps.co.nz/#7/-39.258/177.171

It's not an app but a website that stitches together LINZ charts and provides selectable layers for google maps, Navionics (regular and sonar) and also provides geolocation too I think.  I haven't used it much yet but have used it to share spots, make plans with mates, etc. when we are not face to face.

About wetmaps.co.nz

I like viewing LINZ marine charts but have trouble viewing them all in one go. To solve this probem, I created wetmaps. It's just a map stitched together from all the individual LINZ marine charts. I figured if it's useful to me, it'd probably be useful to others.

Features include:

  • View marine charts for everywhere in NZ
  • Switch between maps. Choose from LINZ, Navionics, Topo, Google Street, Satellite, and Terrain
  • Click the map to drop a pin and get the coordinates
  • View and track your current location
  • Share your current viewing location by just copying the url
  • Works 100% across all mobile and table devices
  • Mobile apps coming soon

It's free to use and always will be. Let me know if you have any ideas for improvement: [email protected]
Feel like shouting me a beer?

Cheers,
Gabe
