There are a bunch of products for tents that work just fine. Have used a few of them over the years and can't remember the brands sorry, but all the ones we have tried have worked pretty well. 

303 water proof expensive but works well

Mine is canvas.. tent canvas.
 Gets a water proof every yr..its a 'maintenance' thing not a repair thing.
 scot gaurd also works well as a protectant after the normal canvas water proofing..espec for protection against salt and bird poo.. leaf debris etc.
And a non bleach type disinfectant (gone in 60 secs concentrate @ 10%) in a spray bottle around stitching and behind where clears over lap.. canvas side.

Any marine canvas work done by a reputable trimmer will be acrylic canvas,

 Mine is cloth type canvas, not acrylic or plastic coated/ impregnated, made by a very long established company  been up for near on 7 yrs, all stitching in excellent condition.
 Clears as clear as the day they where made.. The only things that have deteriorated are the velcro stitched to the roof for the screen clears hatch to fix back onto so dont flap in the wind when open ( bad idea in the 1st place)
 And the upholsterers stitched on logo patch faded to nothing. Oh and the dark brown canvas colour has faded only slightly.

My past company manufactured the solution in NZ (Penrose) I've used it many times satisfactorily. I'm about to redo my Black Canvas Canopy on my boat in situ when this weather clears. Will use a cheap. 180mm paint brush to apply. ...easy as☺
