Has/does anyone use the Varivas Max Power 10 x 10 jigging braid?
I've seen some reviews and apparently its pretty good stuff, but expensive, although I've found some on trade me that seems very cheap (buy now $125, but if it doesn't sell its offered for only $85!). Is this a classic case of 'if its too good to be true....', could it be a cheap counterfeit?, is the genuine stuff rubbish and that's why this is going cheap?, or could this just be a good deal?

Wow, that's a great deal!
Just had a look at Plats and they have it for $66 USD, which would be around $100nzd with shipping so I guess the trade me deal is not that amazing after all. Only price I had seen was from Yeehaa.co.nz, which lists it for $195.p/pShocked

Do not buy thr pe5. It's ****. Breaks between 9-14kg which is well-below what it should. I got mine from plat. Lost so many kings and jigs until I realised that it was the braid. Stripped it off and put daiwa boat braid pe6 and no breakages. Apparently it's only the pe5 that there is issues with. Got 250 ish metres you can have if you want
