On Friday it was decided that a beer or 10 was in order should the weather stay like it was. This was after Phats had piked on a drink at New Brew on Thursday.

Saturday morning I advise Phats via txt that BMM is keen for New Brew... and that he'd better wear his pulling clothes. He replies something about too bad he'd already had a pull this morning.

Later in arvo I txt Phats that New Brew at 6.30ish should be all go. His reply is fairly positive so I notify Keri Boi, Ohsif, Blue Assparagus, FT and Bender. Ohsif says "maybe", FT says "No can do", No response from Bender and Bluey doesn't respond till well after the game is decided.

Phats sends a txt soon after saying "I'll c u if I c u" and then later saying "I'll give it a miss, I've already had two beers." Well whippdydooo!

BMM and I decide there is no use taxiing from Onehunga to the Shore and then all the way back home just so we can have a couple of drinks, so decide to can it and have drinks at home. Sent out a txt saying it was all off.

After our change in plans we decide to stop at Swashies for a coldy and the nicest goddamn seafood basket in Aucks on our way to pick up one of BMM's friends.

We receive a txt from Keri Boi asking if it's still on. Say "No" and that I had notified everybody. He says I'm getting nominated for the seat. Then get a txt from Phats about a minute later saying "Been at NB 45 minutes, nobody here, going home".

I tell Keri Boi that Phats is there and he says "Nice try, you're still getting nominated"... so this brings me to the conclusion that either both Keri Boi and Phats are blind and couldn't see each other or Phats was drunk and thought he was at NB when infact he was at home with his hand on it.

Anyway, three of us get fairly bloody trashed at home and then head to town where we somehow won a $100 bar tab. Saweeeet!
