				Thought I would break out the jigging gears today after a summer chasing kings on the topwater setup.
I did a few drops over a pin for nada, and as I was winding up about 10m from the surface I thought I would drop down for one last crack. Lifted the bail arm over to drop the jig, bang, a fiesty 83cm fish jumps on. In my hurry to try and get the bail arm back over my thumb got caught between the bail arm and the braid, which was exiting at a rate of knots.
 

 
Eating sashimed kingfish with a cold beer took the pain away, but the Warriors performance brought it all back
