Gonna be a few differing opinions here but what would the ultimate stickbait rod be for throwing max 150g lures? For chasing kingys mainly in BOP/Mayor/White.

Carpenter? Ripple fisher? or the coming Synit Van Diemen's?

The CTS popping blanks are worth a look if you can find someone to build it...various weights and lengths, the 8' 150 is a magic rod..

I used a fantastic opus bull it cast real well On the 1st cast and then broke on the 1st hook up, I would like to thank RA Conagans for helping me sort the issue, they did not even want to know, never returned calls nor emails I would not recommend them to my worst enemy

Yeehaa are the only shop worldwide that I am aware of too have current stock of the 83/35 (2 piece) and Carpenter currently do not have this on their production list for 2014.

The BLC83/21 and the BLC83/35 (2pc) were specifically designed for the NZ market and are extremely difficult to find anywhere else in the world.

You can find the 83/35 (3 pc) elsewhere but not the 83/35 (2 pc)!!

You will only find the BLC83/21 available through Yeehaa.

Hey Louis, if you're looking for a rod to match that Reel you just bought, you should look for an Offshore Illusion multi weight spin. Check out the website www.offshorerods.co.nz. Best value for money rod around and great for stickbaiting kings.
