Does anyone crimp the barbs on the trebles on their stickbaits? Recently been getting a few on the stick baits that are throwbacks. Hate to see the kingys mouths getting F'd up then putting them back. Barbless trebles the answer??
dad reakons fishing is 10% brains and 95% muscle, and the rest is just good luck!

I think Owner make a barbless treble, the gape/curve is slightly different from a standard treble. GoFish had some a while back...
I do not lie about fishing, I willingly participate in a campaign of misinformation.

Yeah Owner make some great barbless bad boys. I either flapper wheel my barbs of or crush them. I find flapping them is way better or the barbless Owners.

Both singles and trebles are capable of doing serious damage, but if you want to use trebles look for Owner ST66BL. BL = Barbless. The tail hook usually does the damage if hooked on the belly, so many run a single on the rear.

Unsure if Tightlines are bringing in the BL range? but if you get stuck finding some pashy, flick me a PM.

The BL are sweet! They last longer too, you don't get that corrosion starting where you crushed the barb or ground it off...

Oh yeah forgot to mention what Sammy said... Down fall to crushing and Grinding. Also if the metal gets to hot when griding it can weaken the hook. So something to be aware of. But yeah flick RAL a pm if you require the goods PASHY.
