Something I dont like. usually, on the initial access to fishing.net, it takes too long, then comes back with "internet explorer cant find fishing.net......Then I click on try again,. and it goes straight to it. Whats happening, and can this be overcome.

Have had similar a few times recently but not on this site.
Maybe you could try clearing cache, cookies and browsing history and re-booting your modem and computer?

Simple things which are often overlooked that can fix a surprising number of "glitches".

Ok, thanks - but it only happens on fishing.net. Does anyone know why this happens. Also - is anyone on fishing.net interested?? I previously complained about this and I am disappointed that there has not been any help from fishing.net.

Have a look at this thread from some clever guys from here , may or may not solve the problem but worth a shot .

My best advise though would be to run a better internet browser such as Firefox or Chrome .

Smudge - thanks - using Windows 7 and Internet Explorer v9. Interestingly, the fault does not happen (ie clicking New Posts works ok) on Briny Bar, but happens on Boating (clicking New Posts doesnt work, goes to somewhere much earlier).

Try clearing your cache and f.net cookies as a first option. Plenty of guidelines about this via Google. I use Chrome so can't provide any detailed advice on IE sorry.

A problem appears to have been fixed - clicking on New Posts in the Boating thread, was not working - now it is, finally.
Oh dam, spoke too soon - its still not fixed. Doesn't look as if it will ever be fixed.

yeh - I found an issue with windows8 64 bit pro- was shutting down certain things as there was a conflict with win ports and some thing to do with ipv6 (dont know what but they still dont work but something to do with drivers that I cant update)-  still having issues but so long as I only log in 2 times a day not an issue at the moment
