Keep it all pretty basic if your walking aorund on the rocks, a backpack with a few stickbaits, hooks and defintely a set of split ring pliers, some swivels and split rings and you should be away. Just run a basic gimbal, daiwa do a nice one that will packup down to bugger all and does the job well.
Plenty more gear you could carry but better save some space to carry out that big king.
