The casting events set at various locations around the North Island are under the organisation of who?

Local clubs and the Nzaca.

A recent survey has revealed that only one in seven dwarfs are happy.

So for the casts to count would people need to belong to the local club/NZACA? If so I guess I'm out.

You can join the Kiwi Fishing Club, it's a way of competing without belonging to a local club.

I do not lie about fishing, I willingly participate in a campaign of misinformation.

All welcome to cast.  You can come along and cast but if you want to set a record you have belong to a club.

Are you in or out?

Pull your head in Oneil this is being organised for the benefit of all who are interested in casting further or just interested in improving their casting . The people are mostly if not all involved in or with the NZACA in some way. We have looked past the short comings of the NZACA , we are looking forward not backwards you should do the same.
I would love you to turn up and participate . I know you can cast ,be positive and join in.
A note to all , everybody is welcome to come along and join in or just watch some of NZ top casters do their thing. You don't have to be a member . We are low key and have a lot of fun.

Well, nows your chance to reply.

Don't be backwards in coming forwards. Lay it down and see what happens. Not everyone that belongs to any organisation is happy with it all of the time.
Yes it was me, I screwed it up for everyone.

Further to my earlier posting, events like this are the way forward. New rods are coming into the country , thinner and better line is here, technics are being honed, money is being spent most of which is not recoverable by businesses small ones in many cases. Why do they do it , buggered if I know .
Many people help run these events and it costs them. It is these people that you are putting down I not just having a go at you Oneil as there are others out there that will not embrace the new casting rules .
My advice to all , put your BIG BOY PANTS on and cross the bridge , you will not be judged in anyway we need you as much you need us .
This rant isn't aimed at any one person ( but if the shoe fits)

I know you are at least a 180+ caster and the only way to become a 200+caster is to have others look at your cast and offer advice and these events are the best time as you have a field and measurer there along with others who are trying to wring every meter possible out of their gear.

We critic each others casts down here all the time its the only way to get better.
Its not nasty criticism or anything like that its more like  " right arm is a bit too bent " when as the caster you could swear that your right arm was as straight as a straight thing .

Just come along and have a chuck .  No pressure to join a club from anyone just a day to see how far you/we can fling some lead and you may even pick up a few meters. At least you will get to see me explode a few reels .LOL

I have no problems with the rules I actually suggested the same some ten years ago and promptly copped flak from the local club for the idea! This campaign grew to the extent that  a hate campaign was formed against me by a group within that club which came to a height after I tried to lay a complaint when i witnessed two examples of cheating at the Nationals I attended   I was then effectively forced out of the club and the region.
Since then I have been to the odd casting event but at one was made to feel by those attending don't bother coming again so Ive let the whole thing slide focusing on my night fishing from the beach and my voluntary research work for fish and Game.  Two areas that I know will not bring me into contact with  those same individuals. Some have still found the chance to attack me through a certain website.
Well done to those who wish to promote the casting sport here but I feel that was I to seriously get back into it (the only way I know) those demons will surface again I'm also well off the mark with my casting on grass, blasting off soft sand at midnight is a totally different game.
So thats it put it out there I expect those involved from the  club involved will have their version thats the society we are fortunate to live in.

mate I have Ive gone onto other interests which have become passions but even in that time those involved look to carry it on, confidence to do the casting went with it and knowing I would be well under what I could get is not an experience I would look forward too.

As far as I am concerned anyone who is being a pratt at the casting events will get told so and then told  wind their neck in or piss off.   Jock is in charge and he wont take any crap from anyone.

Thankfully every event we have had so far has run smoothly and everyone has been happy .  Just come along as a personal request from me.
