It looked like a small snowboard but on its side rather than flat and somehow used the current in the river to tow a line and lures out. I know that Pio was totally fascinated with it.

Try searching the net for in-line planer boards, sidekickers or sidewinders.  Hit the wall when it came to info on "reti' board construction and overall usage.  The sidewinders and kickers are about the closest I have found to a "reti" board.  Thumbs%20Up

Burnt it to DVD from the telly. The guy from the Mohaka gave a good description of them. I'm also going to make one up to use on the Waikato river mouth. It might just save me some work eh!
Ross

PS - PM me if you're willing to send a blank DVD for me to copy it to.

I just had a friend asking about this as well.  The in-laws are friends of the guy that showed them how to use it on the telly and have a stencil of the design on its way.  I'll let you know when I get it.

I have received a trace of the reti board and drawn up a diagram and instructions so can email to anyone who wants it.  I don't know how to use it, can someone please email me some basic instructions on how to use it once rigged up.  I can then include this in the document before emailing to anyone.
