no uses for me anyway, most those Japanese lures are balanced by owner, decoy or Gamakastu only.
size of the hooks and weight of the hooks will affect the lure action.

The 3/0 VMC Tropic are the same weight wise as Owner ST66....sticky sharp too but I'm still yet to use them in anger.....Speaking to Justin (Gimp) just now and he has been swimming them for awhile now and rates them highly.

thanks guys, i got the five pack of 3/0s to try out, fitted them to my halco laser pro deep diver lures for kings and tuna, figured the top water guys put plenty strain on there hooks so asked up here thanks for input. some aussie guys rate them better than the owners  and they are awesome sharp, look very strong and were great value for the money!

have noticed alot of topwater guys go the single on the rear and the baker rig on the belly, does it change the action on stickbaits that were designed with trebles much?

Ive got some set of 3/0's and a set of 4/0's on 185mm Shimano Ocea stick baits the 3's swam better for that size lure, actually swam brilliantly ! Very very sharp hooks
