This reel looks like a tank.. i think it will be an amazing jigging reel for anything huge!
does anyone know when daiwa nz will bring them in?
i think they are availible in 5500 and 6500!
Fresh waters for drinking, Saltwaters for fishing.

MarkE, the sizes are obviously different, but apart from that the new ones have MAG sealed in the roller bearing, and also in both bearings on either side of the main gear inside the gear box!
Basically they are using the Magnetic Oil Concept actually within the bearings themselves - providing better water proofness at bearing level.
