Well its that time again when my marlin gear is washed and put away till next season and my thoughts turn to Kingfish jigging

I think I have got this right but will ask the skippers to check and confirm to me over the next couple of days
Also I am close to putting a late January trip to Ranfurly together to have another crack at the top water Kingfish that are about then. Amazing action last year and just has to be done again

Any word on a trip on Pursuit? Also a ballpark figure of overall costs on the Whangaroa trips?
I waste most of my money on fishing tackle. The rest I invest in women and booze.

Whangaroa trips are circa 250 each +- accommodation if Phill remembers to charge for that.

Yes I had an Email today and its def on for somewhere between 11th and 20th January hopefully 16-20 which I have asked for Price is likely to be in the region of 1900 per personas it will be a 4 day trip for 6 people. This is yet to be confirmed as I have to wait till he confirms both the dates and his next seasons pricing

I am just keen at this stage to see who may be interested in a trip focused on top water with a bit of jigging and bottom bashing to fill the bins. However stickbaits and shallow jigging is where its at at that time of year

your own weight is not the issue Ponty but that said its possible that it may get rougher than your bath tub at times.
Gear is also not an issue as I will have 4 stickbait sets with me so happy to lend some on the basis that loose it you own it and will need to pay me to replace it.

To those that have made bookings please check and make sure I have got it right thanks
