Been weighing up entering, so fishing starts at 3pm on the 26th, and the contest finishes 9am the next morning.
A few questions.
How long does it take to drive from Welly to the Moki 1000?
Is the road gravel or sealed?
Is having a 4WD for beach driving useful?
edit: One more, how often is the weather pleasant out that way? eg, whats are the chances of sitting in a sandblaster over night...

Don't know why they do, some of them probably don't need to, some of them obviously do, but to be honest I don't really care. Best just to leave them to it. Hard to find impartial views on this sort of topic I guess. Will someone attending this comp post up the results please?
