Sam has give me quite a few of these poppers to test and fish with, they are what I call a super popper, you can pop/blup them as a normal popper, swim them like you would a stick bait or crank them across the surface. They cast like a bullet, even into the wind and being 110gms they are not to heavy to fish with all day.

A few months ago I spent two weeks working as a guide/fishing with the Nomad Sportfishing Australia guys at Bugati reef, I always had a RAL popper rigged on my rod ready to cast when a customer would have a rest. Here a few photos of the GT's this popper has landed
this little guy was hooked on the first cast of this popper
this GT was taken three meters from the boat and went 42kg, this fish was a true test for Sams wire work in his lures as there was alot of holding the spool to keep him out of the reef and in less then five meters of water, at $ 85 these lures are worth every dollar and if I had some spare they would have be sold to the guests or stolen by the other guides
I was so impressed with RAL lures I will be running on my charter boat and continue to support Sam in his quest for making lures.
