Got a brand new Shimano Tyrnos 10 that I can't afford to keep, spooled with 10kg Maxima

oh really? I thought it was only the Tyrnos 8 sets. Cheers for the heads up, should've waited a few weeks before I bought mine, would've saved nearly $100 and got a free rod Cry

so for 24 dollars extra you get a rod and with you we just get the reel  ???

Don't ya hate it when you buy something and then its on special for far less than you paid for it..
or a pamphlet arrives and the price is a lot cheaper...

Don't see the issue, he's selling it the same price as Topcatch is doing there special for reel only, and this is spooled.

Warranty should still apply if you have receipts.

Seems like a reasonable price he's asking to me, regardless of whether TC have it on special or not. For the combo, the rod they're bolting it to is only an Aquatip... Besides, the Tyrnos 10 combo is $349.99 at TC if anybody bothered to check.

Yeah my views exactly. Oh well, have dropped it to $250 if anyone on here wants it, otherwise I'm sure someone on Trademe will snap it up for significantly more than $275- the last few on there have gone for $320-350 with no line and no box. Just thought I'd offer it here first for less than what I know I can get for it on TM

No WRONG Si Tongue The Tyrnos 10 was on a Triton rod but they have run out, so are now doing them on the Aquatip as you say, but the price is still $299.99

The one you have highlighted comes with braid, the two below for $299 don't.....

Give the guy a break..  I reckon he listed it in good faith and did'nt know there might have been a special on at the time. He's reduced price once it was brought to his attention...what more should the man do?

Sheesh people are lightning quick to put people down when they get a chance..must be a national sport.

Nah got fCensoredked over by Studylink so nearly 2 G's short of where I thought I was going to be and now have to find another grand out of nowhere to pay last months rent. So yeah would much rather have had the car break down again but unfortunately not LOL

Pretty much spot on there, put it up for less than what I paid for it, had no idea there was any specials on them apart from Firman's marine at $349.99. It's not like I was trying to rip anyone off, just wasn't aware of TCs special that was going on. Heard the weather's pretty average up in the Nth Island today so maybe that has something to do with it?
