anybody heard about paying a fee and getting a key to use the ramp at the quarry?

Yeah looked into this last year but worked out pretty expensive... from memory about $295 per year and is still not an all tide ramp

May allso be sht outa luck guys... Stevies has the quarry shut down at present so i,m told.. Dont quote me on that as per the ramp tho..

just as easy from martingarahi if you got a 4wd
 i even done it in me camry one day at low then did the rope trick to get back in at high
help a few local lads push the falcon out a few time too..

The Kaiaua ramp is definitely still open and operating.  It was quite expensive but we have managed to bring the costs down.  The secure ramp is definitely the benefit along with the big breakwater.

There is a $30 joining fee and the rest of the season through to September is $100.
