Just a quick query; has anyone tried using berley as either a subsitutue for either milk bottle, or lead weights used on dropper section?

I was considering giving it a try.  Obviously, might not be the best idea in areas where sharks are prevelant.

Cheers,
Adam.

Not much point IMHO for the reason you state.  Also as the weight will change as the burley releases your going to have really heavy to start off with before it lightens up which will mean hard to get out and baits possibly lifting once you get it out far enough
