A workmate had his boat stolen on Monday morning 6.15am. It was taken from Everglade Dr, Manukau by a couple of pakeha guys driving what looked like an American pick up truck.

The boat is a Parkercraft 16' with a 1992 50HP Johnson outboard. It has 2 aluminium pedestal seats. It had no lights or registration plate on.

If you see a similar boat, can you let me know please.

Had my boat stolen about 10 years back. Got the boat back minus the two engines. Felt like taking who ever stole them out trolling for sharks and using them for bait. I feel your pain!

will do Smudge

I have this dream of finding my last boat (stolen about 3 years ago) with divers below and just hooking it up and towing it away leaving them to "find" their own way home...say from White Island?

Post a photo of the boat if you can get hold of one, we can at least keep an eye out.
Nobody has ever come up with a great idea after a second bottle of water.

Yeah the guy is going to dig out a pic of it for me to post on here. He may have serial numbers I will ask him. What amazes me is the time of day it was taken. He saw the boat disappearing out his drive.

I have been there and know that gut-wrenching feeling to find your pride and joy gone.

Smudge, do you know whether the boat has anything that distinguishes it from other similar boats.
