Hi Dunnit, you guys must have missed the rain over the weekend?
There was something like 140mls in the Kaimais so our local streams would have been filthy.
I didn't even bother going for a sqizz & my 'ol mate stayed home too.
He was going for a look today so will catch up in the next day or two.

There are a couple of  streams at Welcome Bay, mostly taken by locals.
I hear they get the odd good day but nothing startling.

Is good to hear you are getting a feedThumbs Up

we got the rain allright bill but the tarawera clears real quick being a lake fed river....the whakatane and wainui are total mud at the moment but not that high so must be some slips up in the high counrty.
the weekend should be good ...moon is new and sea should be flat     bring it on  lol

a wee update from eastern bop...tarawea was running well with steady catches of 1kg a day untill the mo vanners moved in and camped..mostly from tauranga but one from rotorua(these retired people piss me off).moved to the chedder valley and did well yesterday with 2.5 kg  but today got beaten to "the"spot and only got 1 whitebait.
very early start tomorrow me thinks....i hear the thornton and the whakatane are running fairly well with the locals getting up to 5kg a morning/evening shot.
why dont i go there?...can't be bothered with the racial stuff that goes on....im to whiteLOL

Waikato is very poor so far. With only small catches and very small runs.
THERE ARE TWO KINDS OF FISHERMAN, THOSE WHO FISH FOR SPORT AND THOSE THAT CATCH SOMETHING.
