Been here 7 years now, only found out about the joys of fishing for snapper last year, so still a newbie really, always keen to learn and experiance every thing that is great about New Zealand including the beer!! |
Nice Snapper man!
Diversity is a nice looking boat to fish from - yep Damo will put you onto the best rigs at the time as of2fsh says - check with him a few days before to see what's the go. But most of the time a flasher rig with squid will work wonders - you'll need up to 10oz weights to attach on the bottom of the rig.
Anything Macs produce is a great beer, having one right now, cheers!

A smile, some patience and clothing suited to the weather a lot of our fishing is done on the drift and can be a little wobbly so if you suffer from sea sickness I would suggest taking medication the day before as directed on the packaging
